Build CLARITY COMPETENCE CONFIDENCE
IN ORAL COMMUNICATION
Your school and tertiary training will open up exciting new discoveries of the changing world in which you live. You will learn how to explore and research the subjects of your choice. Year after year you will increase your skills in being able to write about these discoveries.
THEN
you will be asked to give a presentation to your class for your English Oral Language Standard for NCEA and share this knowledge with a small listening group including your tutor who will be marking you. Tertiary students too will be asked to give an oral presentation as part of their assessments. Some of your marks will be awarded for your knowledge.
BUT
a high percentage of your marks are awarded on the way you sit or stand, connect with your audience in person or on-screen, project your voice, hold the interest of your listeners, speak expressively, use gesture effectively, organise your material, structure your address, use your notes unobtrusively.
Rise above the rest
DISCOVER THE POWER OF SPEECH
Enrol now to start to learn how to make impact with your oral presentations so that when you are asked to give your own, you know how to speak with clarity, you are competent to deliver relevant material and you can speak with confidence.
